Lyn Mellady travels Eastern Australia painting what she describes as the grand but fragile serenity of the life andmoods of our rivers, beaches and forests. Water holds a new fascination for her because it allows her to reflect and emphasise the mood of the day.
Lyn was born in Quirindi NSW, grew up in Syney's Cronulla beach area and now lives in Melbourne.
Lyn's work has won many awards and commendations. She was a recent finalst in the International Pastel Excellence Art Landscape Awards. Lyn is a past president of theAustralian Guild of Realist Artists.
